The Gasteiner Valley is the longest side Valley of the Hohen Tauern mountain range, bordering on the Rauriser valley and the south side borders on the province of Carinthia.Floating high into the Mountains. The mountain railways in Gastein are also in operation in summer: From the end of May to the end of October at least one mountain railway is always in operation.
